When was Capify started?

We started Capify in 2008 when many small and medium businesses were struggling to navigate the global financial crisis. We think it’s wrong that many great UK businesses were, and still are unable to thrive due to the lack of funding available to them.

We believe in listening to businesses and providing them with a funding option which meets their needs in a simple and responsible way.


What sets Capify apart from other finance providers?

Our customers sit at the heart of everything we do and therefore it’s important that we make our products simple and accessible. We’re proud to have a team of dedicated professionals who can help guide business owners through the process and find the best solution for them. For this reason, we’ve built a strong community of customers who come back to us time and time again.

We place a lot of emphasis on human communication over tech. Whilst we think that tech is important and delivers a fast process from application to receiving your funds, you’ll also have a dedicated point of contact who will always be available at the end of the phone if you’ve got a question. We also have a team of real people who look over every single deal. Not every business is the same, so we believe that underwriting should be conducted on a case by case basis rather than using a ‘one rule fits all’ approach.


Capify’s history

Founder, President and CEO, David Goldin set up Capify back in 2002.

With offices originally based in the US and Canada, Capify has gained over 20 years experience offering business finance across the globe. The company has also been in the UK and Australian markets for over 12 years. Both offices were established during the height of the financial crisis in 2008.  Throughout all these years, we’ve supported companies through good times and bad.


Where is Capify based?

Capify is based in a town called Altrincham which is just outside Manchester. However, just because we’re based in the North West doesn’t mean we only do business here. We help companies from all over the UK, including Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales. We also have a second office in Australia so if you’re ever over that side of the world and set up a business, why not see how they can help you grow.
