Capify Fundraising

At Capify, we’re keen fundraisers and hold several events per year to raise money for charities across the UK. Whether we’re dressing up as Superheros, racing a half-marathon or selling home made cakes – we love supporting a good cause.

Mission Christmas

Every year, Capify takes part in Key 103’s Mission Christmas.

Instead of doing a Secret Santa, we choose to buy presents for babies, children and teenagers instead. There’s an estimated 1 in 3 children living in poverty across the city of Manchester, so by getting involved with this charity, we can make sure that they don’t wake up on Christmas day with nothing.

Bake Off

Cancer is an illness that unfortunately touches a lot of people; that’s why we took part in Macmillan’s Coffee Morning.

Several members of staff baked their own delicious treats, from cakes to brownies. These were sold within the Capify office, and also at the reception of our building in Altrincham. Everything seemed to be a hit judging by the crumbs that were left!

Several employees from Capify ran the lengthy 13 mile Manchester half-marathon to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society and Macmillan Cancer Support. The race took months of training and preparation and all of those who took part managed to complete the gruelling run – even the wind and rain didn’t stop them.

A huge well done to everyone that took part!

Food Bank

In Manchester, an urgent appeal was launched to fill food banks during the Summer holidays. Unfortunately, in the run up to the emergency shortage, the demand became so high that people were being turned away; leaving lots of families in crisis and struggling to feed themselves and their relatives. Employees at Capify started bringing in food to help, and we managed to get over 300 items.

The Children's Adventure Farm Trust

The Children’s Adventure Farm Trust is an amazing local charity that was formed to provide disadvantaged children with the chance to enjoy a fun-filled holiday. As well as relying on donations, they charity also needs volunteers. Several members of staff went down to the farm and spent the day doing some maintenance on the grounds, and learning more about this fantastic place!

Superhero Day

In order to raise money for Key 103’s Cash for Kids and the amazing charity ‘When You Wish Upon a Star, we held a Superhero day in the office where all the managers dressed up. Throughout the day, they had to do hilarious forfeits in the office, and then they walked around the local town to get some extra donations. Overall, we raised over £1,000 – an amazing achievement.
