CRM Data Manager - Altrincham UK

The CRM Data Manager will develop and execute the marketing data strategy, leveraging CRM tools, market insights and support marketing automations and campaigns.  Champion the data strategy for the business working with key stakeholders, IT and developing a clear and robust data strategy for Capify.

  • Maintain day to day management of the CRM database and be the key point of contact
  • Monitor campaign performance with analysis and advise on best practice and marketing campaign design based on results
  • Support data selections ensuring they are fit for purpose and adhere to GDPR rulings
  • Implement propensity modelling and segmentations built at a customer level, ensuring they are updated correctly and accurately
  • Document all data processes
  • Identify and integrate new/existing data sources for effective and efficient integration into the database
  • Own and lead the CRM and contact strategy across all segments and product
  • Scope and deliver dynamic content functionality to improve efficiency of communicating multiple messages
  • Ensure Trust Pilot and NPS programmes are fully leveraged to establish customer insight and drive loyalty across segments
  • Present new strategies and CRM developments
  • Set up and manage data suppliers
  • Report on key CRM metrics such as database growth, customer cohort, customer frequency, revenues and feedback scores
  • Manage, motivate and delegate tasks to the CRM executives and developer whilst supporting personal development and progression
  • Support the BI function of the business to drive advanced customer data collection and analysis where appropriate
  • Work with a variety of marketing campaigns
  • Prepare customer data for CRM campaigns and running post campaign reports
  • Selections on customer database based on defined criteria from the client

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience working in a similar role
  • CRM subject matter expert
  • Proven record of building and maintaining large databases for analytical purposes
  • Knowledge and usage of CRM platforms, database analysis tools and campaign management software e.g Salesforce, SQL Server, Pentaho and SAS
  • Experienced user of large databases, delivering high frequency, data led dynamic campaigns

Preferred Skills

  • Solid experience managing Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar CRM tool
  • Experience in preparing customer data for marketing campaigns
  • Advanced Excel User
  • Experience working with Google Analytics
  • Extensive knowledge of CRM industry standards and best practices
  • Proven experience creating and delivering marketing programmes that increase revenue and improve customer retention

PHP Back End Developer - Altrincham UK

Salary £35,000 – £40,000

Due to our phenomenal success and ambitious growth plans, we are looking to recruit a talented PHP Developer with a focus on back-end development to help build out our innovative financial product. This is a hugely exciting and highly rewarding opportunity to join a fantastic expanding financial services business with over 75 employees based in Altrincham, Greater Manchester. Working closely with the Head of Development, the successful candidate will be instrumental in helping to design and implement distributed micro applications. Key responsibilities:                

  • Contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle;

Essential Skills:

Management Accountant - Altrincham UK

Salary: £40,000 – £45,000

Due to our phenomenal success and ambitious growth plans we are looking to recruit an experienced Management Accountant. This is a hugely exciting and highly rewarding opportunity to join a fantastic expanding financial services business based in Altrincham, Greater Manchester. The role will provide the successful candidate with vast exposure across our business and the associated responsibilities. The candidate will have a hands-on role across all aspects of finance, encompassing external/internal monthly reporting, forecasting and planning for both the UK and Australian Businesses in particular.

The successful candidate will be working closely with the finance team as a whole, reporting to the senior accountant and will help support the CFO in reporting requirements as the business pushes growth forward.

 Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts for the UK, Australian, Canadian and US entities, together with consolidated monthly accounts and analysis;
  • Month End Balance Sheet reconciliation control and review over all entities;
  • Deferred Revenue Analysis and preparation of monthly journal booking to the Accounts for UK and Australian entities;
  • Bad Debt Analysis and preparation of monthly journal booking to the Accounts for UK and Australian entities;
  • KPI reporting – design, monitoring and interpretation of key KPIs in the business;
  • Modelling/forecasting – P&L and Cash Flow;
  • Management of reporting requirements – internal/external;
  • Prepare monthly reports against budgets and/or forecasts;.
  • Reviewing and improving processes and controls within finance;
  • Preparing for annual statutory audits and liaising with external advisors during this process for both the UK and Australian entities;
  • Working with the external auditors to prepare year-end statutory accounts and tax analysis (UK and Australian entities), together with preparing the year end consolidated statutory accounts for the Group;
  • Preparation, reconciliation and processing of returns.

 What We Are Looking For

  • Qualified/Part qualified CIMA/ACA/ACCA accountant;
  • Proven experience in a similar role;
  • Technically very strong with the ability to hit the ground running;
  • Confidence in their own abilities and able to work independently on their own initiative;
  • Experience of assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts through to board report;
  • The ability to work to monthly deadlines, often going the extra mile;
  • Good team working skills and the ability to deal with people at all levels and build strong working relationships;
  • Great interpersonal and communications skills;
  • Excellent IT skills in particular Excel, as well as confidence in navigating around GL, AP, AR and Cash management systems;
  • Corporation tax experience advantageous for both the UK and Australia but not vital.

Accounts Assistant / Accruals & Prepayments Ledger Clerk - Altrincham UK

£20,000 – £23,000 

Due to our phenomenal success and ambitious growth plans we are looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant, ideally with experience as an AP Ledger Clerk. This is a hugely exciting and highly rewarding opportunity to join a fantastic growing financial services business based in Altrincham, Greater Manchester.  This role will suit someone who is looking for a move into an expanding team which requires solid, confident support from this critical role in the finance function.

The role

  • Responsible for processing purchase ledger invoices and monitoring aged creditors, including dealing with AP queries from creditors for the UK and Australian business;
  • Responsible for setting up regular electronic fund transfers and posting payments into accounting system;
  • AP Bank Reconciliations on a monthly basis;
  • Maintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation journal entries
  • Assist with the monthly accounts close process including reconciliation of various general ledger accounts and preparation of accrual and prepayments monthly journals;.
  • Prepare, investigate and resolve reconciliation items on a timely basis, escalating internally when required;
  • Responsibility for updating Foreign Exchange rates in the main operating systems monthly;
  • Provide general accounting support for the finance team and other reasonable duties as and when required;
  • Document procedures and work flow for assigned areas, seeking to identify and implement process improvements around the AP process.

The person

  • Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant role;
  • Demonstrable experience of reconciliations and dealing with high volumes of data;
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (particularly Excel);
  • Ability to operate in a service driven culture, continuously challenging and seeking to be better;
  • Good communication and customer service skills, going above and beyond the call of duty where necessary;
  • Trustworthy, diligent and self-motivated;
  • Strong organisation and time management skills;
  • A high level of attention to detail, ensuring inputting accuracy is vital;
  • Able to organise own workload and to reprioritise at short notice in order to meet deadlines;
  • Able to learn quickly, break down processes into their constituent parts, identify problems, suggest and implement solutions;
  • Knowledge of Solomon 7 or later version preferred but not essential as can be trained
